Trikeable Treats kicks off in the 4th of July Parade
We decided the perfect way to launch our business would be to ride our trike down the street and give out treats in the Lakewood, Ohio 4th of July parade! How fun would that be? So we shopped for a treat that everyone would like. Of course that would be the red, white and blue bomb pop. Which to my surprise, the politically correct name is the Freedom Pop! So we will go with that. For those of you that have not been to the parade, its a great hometown event. It was ranked one of the top 11 4th of July celebrations in the U.S.A. Kids line the streets waiting to see the home made floats, bands, jugglers and of course wait for the parade vendors to hand out the candy! So we thought that handing out popsicles to all of the kids would be a great idea. But what we did not anticipate would be that we would be mobbed by the kids!! They first heard the old fashioned ice cream music that we broadcast from our trike and knew intuitively that the ice cream man was coming. They were beyond excited.
